The Issue
The prestigious Chatham House-based Food Security Working Group (FSWG) of industry experts, academics and government officials needed to understand how a credible threat to the UK’s food supply chain would be managed and the resultant policy implications.

Approach
Analytic Red researched and designed a scenario to identify where vulnerabilities to the security of the UK’s food supply lay and captured strengths and weaknesses in inspection, assurance and response regimes. Finally, we supported participants in identifying new policy requirements to mitigate vulnerabilities identified.

Benefit
Through the use of a highly facilitated event, Analytic Red exploited deep industry knowledge held by individuals to produce important findings.
