The Issue
The Chief Executive wanted to exercise his Management Board under crisis conditions; raise awareness of the organisation’s Plan which sets out the roles and responsibilities in times of crises; test the organisation’s critical and core functions and increase the Board’s familiarity with the crisis management suite.

Approach
From interviews conducted with key individuals and officials, Analytic Red designed a testing but realistic scenario. An exercise – described as ‘the best ever’ - was delivered to the Management Board, facilitated by our Team in the organisation’s crisis suite.

Benefit
Drawing on data captured live during the event, Analytic Red produced a report which identified priority issues and made recommendations on how to make current plans more robust. At the end of the exercise the Management Board had a clearer view of its strategic and operational decisions, the demands that would be placed on the organisation and its Board in a crisis and the logistical, procedural and other refinements required to enable it to meet its own strategic objectives.
